Help & support
A random photo from someone's camera roll lands on every phone at once. Guess whose it is before the timer runs out.
How to play
- Everyone opens Pic Party on their own iPhone, on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Each player reviews the 20 photos or videos their phone is allowed to show, and can shuffle for a fresh set.
- One person taps Start a party. Everyone else taps Join a party and picks the room code.
- Each round shows one item from one player's deck. Tap whose you think it is — the faster you're right, the more points you score.
- Playing alone? Solo: time machine shows your own photos and asks you which year they were taken.
Troubleshooting
I can't see my friend's party
- Make sure every phone is on the same Wi-Fi network with Bluetooth turned on.
- Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and make sure Pic Party is switched on.
- The host has to tap Start a party before anyone else can join. Parties stop accepting new players once a game begins.
My deck is empty
- Check Settings → Pic Party → Photos and allow access. If you chose limited access, add more items from the app's settings screen.
- The "how far back" filter and "Videos" mode can narrow your library a lot — try "All time" or "Mixed".
Video rounds take a while to load
Videos are trimmed to a short clip and sent directly between phones, which takes a few seconds longer than a photo. It's normal.
