Pic Party

Privacy policy

Effective October 14, 2026

The short version

Pic Party does not collect, store, or share any of your personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no servers. Your photos never leave the room you're playing in.

Photos and videos

With your permission, Pic Party reads your photo library so you can choose a deck of up to 20 photos or videos before each party. Only items in the deck you approved can be shown.

During a party, when it's your turn, one item from your deck is downscaled and sent directly from your iPhone to the other iPhones in the same party, using Apple's encrypted MultipeerConnectivity over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It is never uploaded to the internet, sent to the developer, or saved to anyone's photo library. Other players' phones keep it only for the current round and delete it when the game ends or they leave.

Remember that the people you play with can see your photos on their screens. Choose your deck with that in mind.

Local network

Pic Party uses your local network and Bluetooth only to find nearby players and run the game between your phones. It does not connect to any server.

Information stored on your device

Your display name, avatar, colour, and photo filter settings are saved on your own iPhone so you don't have to set them up every time. They are shared only with the players in your party while you play, and never with the developer. Deleting the app deletes them.

Children

Pic Party is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Third parties

Pic Party contains no third-party SDKs, advertising, or analytics.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
